Powered by three 12AX7 tubes running at full amp voltages, it delivers the touch sensitivity, dynamic response, and rich harmonic character you expect from a true tube amp — now in a compact, versatile format.
The Tone King Royalist Preamp Pedal brings authentic British inspired tube tone into a compact and highly flexible format. Featuring a two channel high voltage preamp with 3 x 12AX7 tubes running at proper operating voltages and a built in zero watt power amp phase inverter circuit, this unit delivers the feel and response of a real amplifier. Each channel offers Volume, Bass, Middle and Treble controls, a 3 way 1964 1967 1970 voicing switch and era accurate tone stacks ranging from JTM45 and Bassman inspired cleans to later British Lead style drive.
Its integrated low latency IR and power amp simulation engine makes it equally at home on stage or in the studio. With 20 included OwnHammer IRs and a 3 position CAB IR selector per channel, the Royalist can feed dual balanced XLR outputs directly to FOH, recording interfaces or headphones with impressive realism. Dual built in Iron Man attenuators with HF switches, assignable reverb, stereo series FX loop and extensive MIDI programmability allow you to store and recall up to 128 presets with full control over channel selection, IR settings and effects routing.
Deep editing is available via the included Tone King Editor software, enabling detailed adjustment of power amp simulation parameters, filters and routing options. Complete with USB cable and universal 12V power supply, the Royalist Preamp Pedal measures 7.2 inch x 5.7 inch x 2.75 inch and offers a professional solution for players seeking classic tube dynamics with modern direct flexibility.
